At the 22nd and 23th of 23 September 2009 the kick-off meeting at the Institute for Environmental Studies, VU University, in Amsterdam was held. The work packages, and the framework of the prioritization and selection of alternative FRs were discussed. The ENFIRO Stakeholder forum (ESF) was further set-up.
The 1st progress meeting was held on 16 – 17 March 2010 in St Albans (UK) at ITRI to discuss the prioritization and selection of HFFRs, compounding of the polymer/FR formulations, and toxicity tests.
The 1st ENFIRO Stakeholder Forum (ESF) meeting was in Amsterdam de Hortus (The Netherlands) on 30 March 2010, and was attended by 12 members of FR producers, downstream users, NGOs and others.
The 2nd progress meeting was in Mölndal (Sweden, 22 – 23 September 2010) at Swerea IVF, to discuss the fire performance of the selected HFFRs, toxicity tests, leaching tests and impact assessment studies.
The 2nd ESF meeting was held in Amsterdam (The Netherlands 14 March 2011), at VU, and was attended by 17 ESF members from FR producers, downstream users, and others.
